Kathryn the Grape helps students shine! Best-selling author, award-winning artist-songwriter, and media publisher, Kathryn Cloward (“Kathryn the Grape”) empowers and inspires students of all ages through her engaging and interactive school visits. Kathryn weaves together character-enriching concepts, growth mindset principles, and social-emotional learning tools in her books, songs, videos, and talks. She loves sharing directly with students and has conducted over 50 elementary school-wide assemblies throughout southern California. With over 20 years of inspirational public speaking experience, including being a TEDx speaker, Kathryn is effective at sharing with groups of all sizes and ages. Kathryn will engage, educate, inspire, and motivate your students.

In-School Workshops

Music FUNdamentals

In partnership with Poway on Stage's Arts in Education program, Kathryn the Grape provides Poway Unified School District with 40-minute assemblies that are part rock concert, part music class, and all fun! San Diego’s award-winning children’s author and songwriter Kathryn the Grape (Kathryn Cloward) teaches children the “Three Ingredients of Music” with singing, movement, and an uplifting, positive message.
